Position Overview:

As a Technical Support - Electrical System Integration, you will play a crucial role in the integration and implementation of complex electrical systems. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring project success from conception through to delivery for new sales, retrofits, and upgrades. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales and Project Management, to provide troubleshooting support, technical guidance, and ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the integration of complex electrical systems within various projects.
• Compile solutions for our electrical integration offerings.
• Request quotes from partners and suppliers for individual components, systems, and complete solutions.
• Provide support to our global sales representatives in their process with end users and shipyards.
• Assist the contract team during engineering, installation, and commissioning phases.
• Support our service and product support team in troubleshooting and sourcing spare parts.
• Collaborate with departments such as Controls and Purchase to meet common project and company goals.
• Participate in the ongoing development and improvement of our product offerings, processes, and documentation.
• Manage project timelines, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, integrations, and modifications.
• Continuously improve processes and systems for better efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Strong skills in support, project management, troubleshooting, and problem-solving of electrical systems.
• Exceptional collaboration abilities and a track record of successful teamwork.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to work under pressure.
• Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related field are highly desirable.
• Secondary education or equivalent in electrical or automation fields.
• Work experience in electrical/automation or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and drawings.
• High accuracy with a focus on detail and the ability to work well independently as well as in a team.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and basic computer literacy.
• Fluent spoken and written English language proficiency.
